First in-line for the throne, young Prince Nantal Sarth is under pressure to be the perfect son and heir of the Eastern Kingdom. A master of battle he has honed his skills in defense of his people.
A perfectionist when it comes to the blade and shield, he never backs down in defending the lands of his people.
He has been practicing the art of war, since he was strong enough to lift his sword and shield and shows no sign of stopping any time soon.
Ruling from the Citadel of Hope, the Sarth family has gained the favor and trust of the people of the Eastern lands of Alhandria, by good and fair rule.
Gaining respect
He became a member of a royal strike force, set to do targeted strikes or establish war fronts. In some cases they also escorted royalty or people of interest.
This truly tested his fortitude and skills. He endured multiple skirmishes, numerous target strikes and escorted many a visitor to the Eastern Kingdom. He become a true dragoon, a master of the horse and respected by his fellow cavalry.
There was one battle against an enraged ogre, one that they could not resolve peacefully. At peak of them attacking the ogre, a rider fell. His body has bruised and batter by the blow of the large club. The Captain of his force immediately charged the beast, driving it’s spear into it’s heart. He jumped off his horse, to try and help his soldier.
Nanthal saw the moment happen, when he realized the ogre is not dead yet. Driving his heels into the ribs of his steed, he raced, in slow motion. Wind racing past his helm, the loud sound of hooves hitting the moist soul of the farmlands. The ogre sputters into one last motion, blood pouring from the wound and it’s mouth, as the right arm starts to drag the club across the soul in a wide-arc.
The young prince grabbed and readied the spear, throwing it so hard he felt muscles tearing at over-exertion. Flying through the air, heading straight to the ogres meaty head. Before it could pierce the skull of the monster, the club hit the Captain across the upper body. Crushing the head, neck and rib-cage into mush. Instantly killing the Captain. The spear finally found it’s purchase, silencing the maw of the Ogre.
That battle ensured his promotion to Captain, but also became a burden for Nanthal. Always trying to now push harder, work better for his troops and make sure the people of the Eastern Kingdom will know the Sarth family is there to aid and protect its people.
