Where he stands now
His forge hollows a cave beneath the city’s eastern foundations. Smoke curls like old stone-breath, scented with sweat and iron rather than flame alone. He labors solo-guild-kin retired or claimed by endless disputes.
His story
“The mountains gave us our bones,” he growls when asked why he lingers as others flee to “better” sands. The surface shifts too swiftly-new overseers, new levies, new names for old stone. He shaped the great spires before mortar hid them and guilds sold them. His hands bear scars of hammer and chisel. His granddaughter begs to learn the craft before wedding a surface-dweller. He agrees, but keeps her deep until her own tools are earned.
Current mood
Gruff yet fond. Mead flows when frost kisses the chimney glass. Old clan-songs are etched into his tool handles.
