Mayor Thaddeus Crane has called for aid from neighboring cities, declaring, “We shall rebuild, for Dustport is the jewel of the southern coast.”

A rebellion among the peasantry in the Eastern Provinces has been decisively crushed by the forces of General Cornelius Hargrave. The uprising, sparked by grievances over oppressive taxation and poor harvests, saw several villages rise in open defiance of the Crown. However, the rebels were no match for the disciplined regiments of the Alhandrian Army. Over two hundred insurgents were captured, and their leaders have been sentenced to hang at dawn. General Hargrave issued a stern warning to would-be rebels: “The Crown’s justice is swift and unyielding.”
