Overview
In the fourth age, after the peace treaty has been signed between the great allied nations, a time of great discovery dawned.
Technology bloomed and grew, discoveries and technological advanced at a great rate and even magic became more accessible to those that wanted to learn.
The great family Skywatchers, goblin inventors and traders, shared their spoils and grew into a strong and powerful family. The other races adopted their steam technology and blended magic into it. The Royal Goblin family, took to long to keep up with this new trend and lost a lot of market share and growth within new arcane industries.
The great goblin explorer Teh-rali Skywatcher, took his last zeppelin, The Thunder Twig, on a rogue adventure. He cashed out his shares of his company, as no-one else believed there was anything past the Unending Water, south of the known world.
Funding the adventure with the last of his riches and taking the hope of the Royal Goblins with him. He fought against the elements, sky-beasts and sometimes even his own sanity. Finally he discovered the continent of Alhandria, which he named after his late mother. He rejoiced in sticking with his conviction, his hard work and dedication has paid off.
His years of business, his family’s power and all the contacts they had, finally came to a perfect fruition. After applying for the rights to the cartography and routes to this continent he informed the great nations of his discovery. He sold the maps to them and asked only for the isles in the Unending Waters and freedom across the continent of Alhandria for all of his people. Oh and of course, 5% of all profit on the trading routes to and from Alhandria.
The great continent of Alhandria, the home of wild beasts, raging monsters, ancient dragons and of boundless natural resources. Before the settlers was sent, an agreement was made among all the great races of the world to divide the continent into provinces. Each to be governed and managed by rulers set out for those areas. The dwarven nations applied for the two great mountain ranges. The elven kingdoms took to the great Bolgart’h Forest. The Human’s took the Sun Coast Peninsula and Sun Coast. The nations established trades routes back to their capitals on the homelands.
